Style Dispatches from the Velvet Ditch

Our whole family is an Ole Miss family. Our parents graduated from Ole Miss in 1992 and we all three decided to attend Ole Miss after growing up in Birmingham, AL, where most of our friends attended Auburn or Alabama. E graduated in 2020, Braf in 2022, and Fran will graduate next May in 2024. There is truly something so special about Oxford year-round, but especially in the Spring. Oxford is nicknamed the Velvet Ditch because somehow you just keep ‘sliding’ back in — once you’ve lived there it’s hard to not want to go back all the time! We’re sure everyone feels this way about their college town to some degree, but of course we are biased to Oxford.

Spring in Oxford is graduation in the Grove, baseball games at Swayze, outdoor concerts, arts festivals, and just embodies happiness. We styled five outfits that remind us of the iconic events hosted in Oxford every Spring. Tap on any image to shop — Hotty Toddy!
