Mocha Mousse is for 2025

Hello sister and Happy New Year! We can’t wait to see what this year brings — we’re hoping it brings more blog posts! So here we go talking about the color of the year as decided by Pantone. Each year the color expert company releases the color of the year and this year it’s Mocha Mousse. Last year’s Peach Fuzz was cute, but not so practical when it comes to fashion and style. Peach is a hard color that only looks good on certain skin tones. Mocha Mousse is much easier to work with and not to mention it sounds delicious. They say that the decision to select Mocha Mousse as 2025’s color of the year comes from our desire for comfort. It’s a warm brown color that feels like chocolate and coffee and is supposed to evoke feelings of simplicity and contentment (Pantone). I for one know that some comfort and peace would be nice this year — and coffee and chocolate can do those things, but we know putting our trust in Jesus Christ does more.
